The Dashboard — Terms and Conditions of Sale and Licence

EARLY DART LTD · Company number 16156441 · England and Wales

Version 5.4 — 30 September 2026.

Please also read The Dashboard – Disclaimer. It is a short, one-page document that is included with these terms and is read alongside them.

1. About us, and how these terms apply to you

1.1 These terms are an agreement between EARLY DART LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 16156441, registered office Tall Trees, Beehive Lane, Moulton, Northwich, England, CW9 8NT (“we”, “us”, “our” or “Early Dart”) and the customer named on the Order Confirmation (“you” or “your”). You can contact us at contact@earlydart.com or on 07956980552.

1.2 These terms apply to the sale and licensing of the software product known as The Dashboard.

1.3 How these terms become binding. We do not sell The Dashboard through our website. When you want to order, we send you an Order Offer by email: a written quote or a secure payment link that states the tier and the price, and links to these terms and to the Disclaimer. You accept these terms and the Disclaimer by paying through that payment link, or by confirming your acceptance of the Order Offer in writing, and at the same time you confirm that you are buying for your business. The version of these terms that applies to your order is the version linked from the Order Offer, and it is recorded by its version number and date on the Order Confirmation. These terms are linked from the payment link and from the Order Offer, so that you can read them before you pay.

1.4 You can save and print these terms at any time from our website and from the links in your Order Offer and your Order Confirmation.

Who we sell to

1.5 We sell only to businesses buying wholly or mainly for the purposes of their trade, business, craft or profession. We do not sell to consumers, and the consumer rights in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 do not apply where the customer is a business.

1.6 Whether you are a business is a question of fact, not of what either of us says. So that both of us know where we stand, you must confirm before you pay that you are buying wholly or mainly for the purposes of your business, and give us your business name, either in the payment link or in writing when you accept the Order Offer. We record and retain what you give us, and we rely on it in agreeing to sell to you. If it turns out that you were in fact buying as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law gives to consumers and that cannot be excluded, and the rest of these terms continues to apply.

1.7 Tier 1 additional confirmation. Because a Tier 1 order is delivered by download, you must also confirm, before the download is made available, that you want delivery to begin straight away and that you give up any right to cancel that you would otherwise have once download has begun. We ask for this even though we sell only to businesses.

1.8 UK only. We sell only to customers established in the United Kingdom, for use on a Device located in the United Kingdom. If it turns out that you are not established in the United Kingdom, or that the Device is not in the United Kingdom, we may cancel the order and, if we do so before delivery, refund the price in full. After delivery we may terminate the licence under clause 26.1 and no refund is due.

Priority and completeness

1.9 This agreement is made up of the Order Confirmation, these terms, the Schedules and the Disclaimer. If they conflict, they take priority in that order — except that the Order Confirmation cannot vary, reduce or override the Minimum Requirements in Schedule 3, which prevail over the Order Confirmation in all cases. The Disclaimer is a short summary of clauses 13, 16, 20 and 21.6. It is read subject to clause 21.1, and it does not take away any right these terms give you.

1.10 These terms apply to the exclusion of any other terms you seek to impose or incorporate, including any purchase order, supplier portal terms or standard conditions of purchase, whether or not we sign or acknowledge them. Nothing we do in performing your order amounts to acceptance of your terms.

1.11 Entire agreement and non-reliance. This agreement is the entire agreement between us about The Dashboard and replaces anything said, written, demonstrated or promised beforehand. You confirm that in entering into it you have not relied on any statement, demonstration, representation, assurance or warranty that is not set out in this agreement or in the Documentation. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and this clause is subject to the test of reasonableness under section 3 of the Misrepresentation Act 1967.

2. Terms that particularly affect you

Please read these clauses carefully before you accept these terms. They limit what you can recover from us, place obligations on you, and in some cases require you to pay us money.

  • Clause 6.2 — a cancellation charge if you cancel a Tier 2 or Tier 3 order before installation.
  • Clause 7 — you get one download and you are responsible for keeping your own copy.
  • Clause 11.5 and 11.6 — you must not copy, share or distribute The Dashboard, and there is a charge if you do.
  • Clause 11A — you may sell copies of The Dashboard only with a licence key bought from us for each copy, and you are responsible for the businesses you sell to.
  • Clause 11.10 — the source code of The Dashboard is confidential, permanently.
  • Clause 11.12 — The Dashboard opens only with a licence key that works on one computer, it checks in with us about once a month, and you must not tamper with either.
  • Clause 13.4 and 13.5 — which Claude plan you use is your decision and your responsibility, and you must check anything AI produces before you rely on it.
  • Clause 15 — The Dashboard has no login of its own, and keeping your computer and network secure is your responsibility.
  • Clause 17.1 — you must comply with every privacy and data protection law that applies to you. The Dashboard is a set of files on your own computer, so we have no control over what you do with it.
  • Clause 18 — what our warranty covers and, importantly, what it does not.
  • Clause 20 — we do not guarantee that The Dashboard will keep working when Apple, Microsoft, Anthropic or another provider changes something.
  • Clause 21 — limits on what we are liable for, a cap on the total amount, and a 12-month time limit for bringing any claim.
  • Clause 22 — you indemnify us in certain situations, and for most of those situations there is no cap on the amount.
  • Clause 26 — we can end your licence if you seriously break these terms, and no refund is due if we do.

3. Definitions

In these terms:

AI Provider any provider of artificial intelligence services used by The Dashboard, including Anthropic, PBC in respect of Claude and Claude Code, and any other provider named in the Documentation.

Assisted Session any occasion on which, at your request, we install, configure, diagnose, repair or support The Dashboard and in doing so can see, or actively work with, personal data held on or accessible from your Device — in person, by screen share or by any other means. A telephone conversation in which we cannot see your screen or Device is not an Assisted Session.

BUILD CHAT the feature of The Dashboard that allows you to alter, extend or rebuild The Dashboard on a Device.

Connected Services third-party services The Dashboard connects to using accounts and credentials you supply, including your Claude plan, Launchpad Pro, Stripe, your website platform and your social and advertising accounts.

Customer Modification any change to The Dashboard made by you, by anyone acting for you, or by BUILD CHAT at your direction. It does not include a malfunction of BUILD CHAT itself, which is dealt with in clause 14.2.

Defect either (a) The Dashboard failing to start, or failing to run at all, on a Device meeting the Minimum Requirements; or (b) a tile listed in the Documentation that has never worked since the Delivery Date. A tile that worked and later stopped working, a tile that does not do something the Documentation does not say it does, a question about how to use The Dashboard, and anything caused by a Customer Modification, are not Defects.

Data Protection Laws the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 (as amended, including by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, and any other data protection law applying to you.

Delivery Date for Tier 1, the date we make the download available to you; for Tiers 2 and 3, the date of Handover.

Device each computer identified on the Order Confirmation on which The Dashboard is licensed to run, running an operating system stated in the Minimum Requirements. The number of Devices licensed is stated on the Order Confirmation and is one unless stated otherwise.

Disclaimer the one-page document titled The Dashboard – Disclaimer, published at https://earlydart.com/legal/dashboard-disclaimer/, in the version linked from your Order Offer.

Documentation the written description of The Dashboard current at the Delivery Date, comprising the product description, the installation and user guide and the Minimum Requirements, a copy of which is supplied with the download.

Handover completion and signature of the Handover Checklist at Schedule 1, or deemed handover under clause 9.9 (Tiers 2 and 3 only).

Launch Notice our email telling you that The Dashboard has launched.

Licence Key the key we issue that allows The Dashboard to open on one Device, described in clause 11.12.

Minimum Requirements the technical requirements for running The Dashboard, set out at Schedule 3.

Order Confirmation the written confirmation we issue accepting your order, stating the tier, the price, the Device or Devices, the version and date of these terms you accepted, and for Tier 3 the agreed scope.

Order Offer the written quote or secure payment link we send you by email inviting you to order, stating the tier, the price, the number of Devices, and the version and date of these terms that will apply. An Order Offer is an invitation to order, not an acceptance of an order.

Save Point the backup and restore feature of The Dashboard.

The Dashboard the software product described in clause 4, in the form we supply it, together with the Documentation.

Warranty Period the 60 days beginning on the Delivery Date.

4. What The Dashboard is, and the three tiers

4.1 The Dashboard is business software that runs on your own computer. It runs local servers on your Device, is launched automatically when the Device starts, and it launches and manages Claude Code sessions using your own Claude plan. The technical detail — ports, components, prerequisites and the list of tiles — is set out in the Documentation and the Minimum Requirements, which may change between versions.

4.2 The Dashboard is supplied with the tiles listed in the Documentation current at the Delivery Date. It includes BUILD CHAT, which lets you alter or extend it yourself.

4.3 We sell The Dashboard in three tiers. The tier you have bought is stated on the Order Confirmation. Where a clause applies to a particular tier, it applies only to that tier.

Tier 1 — Download only.

4.4 You download The Dashboard and install it yourself. Tier 1 includes no installation, no configuration, no set-up of Connected Services and no assistance with installation. If you ask us to install it, or to help you install it, that is a request for installation services and is chargeable under clause 19.3, whether done on site or remotely.

Tier 2 — Download and installation.

4.5 We install and configure The Dashboard on your Device, on site or remotely as agreed, and complete the Handover Checklist with you.

Tier 3 — Custom build and installation.

4.6 We build the additional or altered functionality described in the scope on the Order Confirmation, then install and hand over as for Tier 2. Clause 10 applies.

4.7 The Dashboard runs on the operating systems and versions stated in the Minimum Requirements current at the date of your order. We do not undertake to support any other operating system.

4A. The waitlist and calls

4A.1 Our website invites you to join a waitlist for the launch of The Dashboard and to book a call with us. Joining the waitlist or booking a call is free, does not place an order, and does not create a contract between us or commit either of us to anything.

4A.2 Until we issue an Order Confirmation we may change the price, the launch date, the tiers and what The Dashboard does. Nothing shown on our website, said on a call or shown in a demonstration is a promise of what you will receive; what you will receive is described in the Order Offer, the Order Confirmation and the Documentation. Clause 1.11 applies.

4A.3 A demonstration on a call shows The Dashboard working on an example business. It is not built round your business unless you order Tier 3, and the scope of a Tier 3 build is only what is written on the Order Confirmation (clause 10.1).

4A.4 We use the details you give us when you join the waitlist or book a call to tell you about the launch, to arrange, hold and follow up the call, and to send you an Order Offer if you ask for one, as described in our privacy notice at https://earlydart.com/privacy/. You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time by emailing contact@earlydart.com.

5. Orders, price and payment

5.1 How the contract is formed. When you tell us you want to order, whether on a call, by email or in reply to our Launch Notice, we send you an Order Offer. Paying through the payment link in the Order Offer, or confirming your acceptance of it in writing, is your offer to buy on these terms; it does not by itself create a contract. The contract comes into existence when we issue the Order Confirmation, and at that point these terms and the Order Confirmation govern the sale.

5.2 If we decline your order, we will tell you within 3 working days of payment and refund everything you have paid, in full, within 5 working days of telling you. We will not begin work or make the download available before we issue the Order Confirmation.

5.3 The price is the price stated on the Order Confirmation, which will be the price stated in the Order Offer. Any price advertised elsewhere, mentioned on a call, or offered for a limited time, does not form part of this agreement unless it is stated in the Order Offer.

5.4 For Tiers 2 and 3 we will agree an installation date only once we have received cleared funds for the full price and issued the Order Confirmation.

5.5 We are not currently registered for VAT and no VAT is charged. If we become registered, VAT at the prevailing rate will be charged in addition to the price on orders placed on or after the date registration takes effect.

5.6 Where we invoice you for chargeable services under clause 19, payment is due within 14 days of invoice, and we may charge interest on overdue sums under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Cancellation, rescheduling and payment disputes

6.1 Tier 1. Because delivery happens as soon as we make the download available, and because you confirm under clause 1.7 that you want delivery to begin immediately, you may not cancel a Tier 1 order once we have made the download available.

6.2 Tiers 2 and 3. If you cancel after the Order Confirmation but before installation, we will refund the price you have paid less the following, and we will give you a written breakdown:

(a) more than 7 days before the agreed installation date: our reasonable costs actually incurred, being any travel or accommodation already booked and not refundable;

(b) between 2 and 7 days before the agreed installation date: £500;

(c) on the day before, or on the day of, the agreed installation date: £1,000. This represents non-refundable travel and accommodation already booked, the cost of the engineer’s day which we have committed and cannot fill at that notice, and our administration costs. It is a genuine estimate of what a cancellation at that notice costs us;

(d) in every case, for Tier 3, the value of custom build work already completed, at our standard rate under clause 19.4.

6.3 We will never retain more than the price you have paid. We draw the scale in clause 6.2 to your attention in the Order Offer, before you order.

6.4 If you postpone an agreed installation date on less than 7 days’ notice, or if we attend and cannot complete installation for a reason within your control, we may charge a re-visit fee of £250.

6.5 If you have a problem with what you have paid for, you agree to raise it with us in writing and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it before contacting your card issuer or payment provider. Where you raise a payment dispute that is later withdrawn or decided in our favour, you will reimburse our reasonable administrative costs and any fees charged to us.

7. Delivery, your download, and keeping your own copy

7.1 The price includes one download of The Dashboard. The download link is valid for 30 days from issue.

7.2 The Dashboard is delivered on the Delivery Date, and from that date the risk of loss of or damage to the copy of The Dashboard you hold is yours. The Device is your property throughout and its risk is always yours. This does not affect our responsibility for loss or damage we cause negligently, which is dealt with in clauses 18.5 and 21.

7.3 You are responsible for keeping your own usable copy of the installer and of The Dashboard as delivered, stored somewhere other than the Device. We recommend doing this immediately after download and again after Handover.

7.4 We are not obliged to re-issue The Dashboard. Where we choose to, we will do so free of charge during the Warranty Period and after that on payment of an administration fee of £75. We will re-issue only to a licensed Device, or to a replacement Device where the original has been lost, damaged, stolen or retired and you confirm in writing that The Dashboard has been removed from it or is irretrievable.

7.5 If we cease trading we will not be able to re-issue The Dashboard. Your licence itself survives under clause 11.11, which is why clause 7.3 matters.

8. Minimum Requirements and Documentation

8.1 The Minimum Requirements are set out at Schedule 3, and we send them to you with the Order Offer before you order. They state the supported operating systems and versions, the hardware, the software that must already be installed, whether installation requires the use of Terminal, the need for your own Claude plan, the Connected Services required for particular tiles, and the security characteristics of The Dashboard described in clause 15.

8.2 The Documentation current at the Delivery Date is supplied with the download and is the description against which the warranty in clause 18 is measured.

8.3 It is your responsibility to check, before ordering, that your Device and your accounts meet the Minimum Requirements. This matters most on Tier 1, where we do not see your Device before you buy.

8.4 We are not responsible for the performance of The Dashboard on a Device that does not meet the Minimum Requirements, or where a Connected Service needed for a tile is not in place. The Order Confirmation cannot override this (clause 1.9).

9. Installation (Tiers 2 and 3)

9.1 We will install and configure The Dashboard on the agreed date, on site or remotely. Travel is included for customers located in the United Kingdom.

9.2 You will provide access to the Device and premises, a working internet connection, and the accounts and credentials for any Connected Service you want configured on the day.

9.3 You will enter your own administrator password and your own third-party credentials. We do not ask for, record or retain your passwords or API keys. Where you choose to enter credentials in front of us, or ask us to type them, you remain responsible for them and should change them afterwards if you have any concern.

9.4 Configuring Connected Services may involve us working actively with your data — for example importing contacts or connecting an advertising account. Where it does, Schedule 2 applies.

9.5 Your credentials for Connected Services are stored in configuration files on the Device in a form readable by anyone with access to it. Securing the Device is your responsibility under clause 15.

9.6 Before we begin any installation or Assisted Session, and to limit the risk of data loss, you will: confirm that you hold a current backup of the Device and of any system it can reach; quit any file-sync client (such as Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive) and unmount any network or shared drive; and not sign us into any shared company account. We will take a save point before we begin. If you cannot confirm a current backup, we may decline to proceed, or proceed only on your written acknowledgement that restoration may not be possible.

9.7 Neither The Dashboard’s screen recording feature nor any recording facility of ours will run during installation. If a remote support tool we use records the session, we will tell you before we start and you may decline.

9.8 At the end of installation we will complete the Handover Checklist at Schedule 1 with you and both sign it. It records the configuration delivered and, in particular, which tiles were working on the day, which matters for limb (b) of the definition of Defect.

9.9 Deemed handover. If installation is complete and we ask you in writing to sign the Handover Checklist, and you neither sign it nor notify us in writing of a specific failure to complete installation within 7 days, Handover is deemed to have taken place at the end of that period and the Warranty Period begins.

10. Custom build (Tier 3)

10.1 The custom work we will do is the work described in the scope on the Order Confirmation. Anything not written in that scope is not included, however it may have been discussed or demonstrated.

10.2 The price includes two rounds of changes. A round means one consolidated set of written comments from you. Further changes are chargeable under clause 19.

10.3 The custom work is accepted on the earlier of Handover and 14 days after we notify you it is ready for review, unless within that period you notify us in writing of a specific failure to meet the agreed scope.

10.4 Custom work is licensed on the same terms as the rest of The Dashboard. We remain free to reuse the general techniques, know-how and components involved in other work.

11. Your licence

11.1 On payment in full and issue of the Order Confirmation we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use The Dashboard on the Device or Devices, for the internal business purposes of the customer named on the Order Confirmation and, only as clause 11A allows, to sell copies, whether that customer is a company, a limited liability partnership, a partnership or a sole trader.

11.2 Where the customer is a partnership, the licence is granted to the partners from time to time of that firm, and the obligations in these terms bind them jointly and severally.

11.3 The licence is not granted to any group company, franchisee, client or associate of yours, and does not extend to their businesses.

11.4 You may allow your employees, and contractors and freelancers working for your business, to use The Dashboard on the Device on your behalf. You are responsible for their compliance with these terms as if their acts were your own. You may move The Dashboard to a replacement Device on written notice to us, provided it is removed from the original Device. A replacement Device needs a new Licence Key, which we issue under clause 11.12.

11.5 You may alter, extend, rebuild and configure The Dashboard, whether through BUILD CHAT or otherwise, subject only to clause 13.5 (human review steps) and clause 11.12 (licence key and check-in). Clause 14 explains what that means for your warranty.

11.6 Except as clause 11A allows, you must not, and must not permit anyone to: copy The Dashboard, in whole or in part, other than the backup copy clause 7.3 asks you to keep for your own use; sell, resell, licence, sub-licence, rent, lend, publish, distribute, share or otherwise make The Dashboard available to anyone outside your business, in whole or in part, in its original or any modified form; use The Dashboard to provide to any third party a service that is substantially The Dashboard or a derivative of it; or remove or obscure any copyright, licence or attribution notice supplied with it.

11.7 If you copy, distribute or make The Dashboard available in breach of clause 11.6, you will pay us, for each business that obtains a copy from you or from anyone you authorised, a sum equal to our Tier 1 price at the date of your Order Confirmation. This is a genuine estimate of our loss, being the price we would have received from that business. It applies only to copies you made or authorised, and not to onward copying by others that you neither made nor authorised and could not reasonably have prevented.

11.8 On 30 days’ written notice, and no more than once in any twelve months, you will confirm in writing how many copies of The Dashboard exist and on which Devices.

11.9 You must remove The Dashboard, and all credentials stored in its configuration files, before you sell, return, dispose of or otherwise part with a Device.

11.10 Ownership. All intellectual property rights in The Dashboard remain ours or our licensors’. Nothing transfers ownership of The Dashboard to you. Your content, your data and the outputs you produce using The Dashboard are yours. A Customer Modification is yours to the extent of the change you have made, but the underlying Dashboard on which it is built remains ours and is licensed to you on these terms, not owned by you. The source code of The Dashboard, which is present on the Device and readable, is our Confidential Information under clause 24 and remains confidential without time limit.

11.11 The licence is perpetual and continues if we cease to trade, are wound up or are dissolved. It is a permanent right to use the copy of The Dashboard you hold. It is not a right to be supplied with a further copy, a further Licence Key or any update after we have ceased trading. We may terminate it only under clause 26.

11.12 Licence key, check-in and updates. The Dashboard opens only with a Licence Key. We issue it for one Device, using the computer code shown on the set-up page of The Dashboard, and it does not work on any other computer. Where clause 11.4 or clause 7.4 allows a replacement Device, we will issue a new Licence Key for it. About once a month, when the Device is connected to the internet, The Dashboard sends us a short check-in containing only: the computer code, the Licence Key it holds, the identifying mark of the copy, the date the copy was built, who supplied it, and the number of copies made from it. It sends none of your business data, files, outputs, credentials or customer details. The Dashboard also reads a page on our website to see whether an update is available; an update is installed only if you choose to install it (clause 19.7). You must not remove, disable, bypass, alter or interfere with the Licence Key check, the check-in or the identifying mark, in your own copy or in any copy you sell, whether by hand, through BUILD CHAT or by any other tool, and you must not permit or help anyone else to. You must not make, share or use a licence key that we did not issue.

11A. Selling copies of The Dashboard

11A.1 You may sell a copy of The Dashboard to another business only in the way this clause allows. Any other copying, sharing or resale is a breach of clause 11.6.

11A.2 Every copy you sell must be made with the SELL A COPY feature of The Dashboard, and must be opened with its own Licence Key. Only we issue Licence Keys. You buy one from us for each copy, at the price we state when you buy it, and the copy must not be used until its Licence Key has been issued. A copy that is handed over or used without a Licence Key issued by us is an unauthorised copy, and clause 11.7 applies to it.

11A.3 Every copy carries an identifying mark that shows who made it. You must not remove or alter it (clause 11.12).

11A.4 A Licence Key we issue for a copy you sell is our permission for the business it is issued for to use that one copy on one computer. That permission is subject to clauses 11.6, 11.10, 11.12 and this clause 11A, and you must pass those restrictions on in your own written terms.

11A.5 You sell in your own name and at your own price. You are not our agent, partner or representative, and you must not say or suggest that you are, or that we supply, endorse or stand behind what you sell. The contract for each copy you sell is between you and your customer, and we are not a party to it.

11A.6 You are responsible for every business you sell a copy to: what you tell them before they buy, installation, support, complaints, refunds, and their use of the copy. You must sell on written terms that protect us at least as well as clauses 13, 15, 16, 17, 20 and 21 of these terms protect us. We owe your customer nothing except the Licence Key for their copy and, if we choose to offer them, updates under clause 19.7.

11A.7 A copy you sell must contain none of your own data, your credentials, or the data of your customers or staff. Making sure of that before a copy leaves you is your responsibility.

11A.8 You will keep a record of each copy you sell, with the business it was sold to and the date, and clause 11.8 applies to those copies.

11A.9 If you breach this clause we may stop issuing Licence Keys to you and may terminate your licence under clause 26. A copy already sold with a valid Licence Key is not affected.

12. What you have to supply

12.1 The Dashboard depends on things you supply and pay for yourself: a computer meeting the Minimum Requirements; your own Claude plan; a Launchpad Pro subscription if you want the PHONE tile, because its telephony runs through our white-label GoHighLevel platform; and your own Stripe account and certificate templates for the CERTIFICATES tile. The full list is in the Minimum Requirements.

12.2 You contract directly with those providers and pay them directly. We do not resell, bundle or mark up any of them.

12.3 If you do not hold a service a tile needs, that tile will not work. That is not a defect and is not covered by the warranty.

12.4 Launchpad Pro. Where you take Launchpad Pro from us, that is a separate agreement on its own terms, and those terms — not these — govern telephony, call recording, voicemail, Twilio obligations and the handling of personal data held in your Launchpad Pro sub-account, including our agency-level administrative access to that sub-account.

13. Claude, Claude Code and other AI providers

13.1 The Dashboard launches and manages Claude Code sessions on your Device. It does not modify Claude Code and it is not a version of Claude Code.

13.2 We are not a reseller, partner, distributor or agent of Anthropic or of any other AI Provider, and we do not sell you access to any AI service. Buying The Dashboard gives you no rights in any AI Provider’s services.

13.3 You hold your own account with each AI Provider, in your own name, and pay them directly. We do not see, hold or have access to your credentials, your account or your usage.

13.4 You are responsible for making sure the plan or account you hold permits your intended use, and for complying with your AI Provider’s terms, usage policy and usage limits. Which plan you choose is your decision. We do not choose or recommend a plan for you, and we give no advice, representation or warranty about the terms of any AI Provider.

13.5 Human review. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You must review AI-generated output before relying on it, acting on it, sending it to a customer or publishing it. The Dashboard includes human review steps and approval gates. You may modify The Dashboard under clause 11.5, but if you remove, disable or bypass a human review step or approval gate, the warranty in clause 18 ceases to apply to anything affected by that change and we have no liability for anything produced or sent as a result.

13.6 Where you use AI-generated communications with your customers, staff or applicants, any obligation to disclose the use of AI, and any consequence of failing to, is yours.

13.7 The AI provider used by the DRAW BOX and animate features, and whose account it runs under, is stated in the Documentation. Where a feature runs under your own account with that provider, clauses 13.2 to 13.6 apply to it in the same way as they apply to Claude.

14. BUILD CHAT, your own changes, and Save Points

14.1 BUILD CHAT changes The Dashboard as it exists on your Device, at your direction. Those changes are Customer Modifications. They are yours to keep and yours to maintain.

14.2 A malfunction of BUILD CHAT itself — where BUILD CHAT fails to work as described in the Documentation, or damages The Dashboard when performing an instruction it is documented as able to perform — is not a Customer Modification and is covered by the warranty in clause 18 in the normal way.

14.3 The warranty does not apply to a defect caused by or affected by a Customer Modification. If we say a defect is excluded on that basis, it is for us to show that it was, using the Save Point history and the BUILD CHAT log on the Device. Where that record has been deleted, disabled or altered by you, it is for you to show that the defect was not caused by a Customer Modification.

14.4 Save Points are a convenience feature, not a backup service. You are responsible for testing that a Save Point restores what you expect and for keeping independent backups of your Device and your data.

14.5 The Dashboard takes an automatic Save Point before each BUILD CHAT run, allows you to take Save Points manually, keeps a log of BUILD CHAT instructions with the version before and after each run, and offers a one-click restore to the version as delivered. You must not delete, disable or alter that log; clause 14.3 explains the consequence if you do.

15. Security of your Device

15.1 The Dashboard’s local servers have no login and no authentication. Anyone who can reach them can use The Dashboard and everything connected to it. Your credentials for Connected Services are stored in configuration files on the Device in a form readable by anyone with access to it. These characteristics are stated in the Minimum Requirements at Schedule 3, and you accept them when you buy.

15.2 You must not make those servers reachable from outside the Device or your own secured local network. In particular you must not port-forward them, expose them through a tunnelling service, publish them on a public hostname, or place the Device on an open or guest network.

15.3 You are responsible for securing the Device, including full-disk encryption, a strong account password, a short screen-lock timeout and control of physical access.

15.4 The stay-awake feature prevents the Device sleeping. It does not lock the screen. If you use it, set a separate screen lock.

16. How you may and may not use The Dashboard

16.1 You must use The Dashboard lawfully and in accordance with the terms of every Connected Service and AI Provider you use through it.

16.2 You must not use The Dashboard to evade or circumvent any rate limit, usage restriction, safety guardrail, content filter, authentication or detection mechanism of any third-party service, nor to collect data in bulk from any platform in breach of that platform’s terms. This clause is directed at evasion and bulk extraction. It does not restrict ordinary automated reading of data you are entitled to access.

16.3 You must not process special category personal data, criminal offence data, or the personal data of children through The Dashboard unless you have identified a lawful basis and the additional conditions required and put appropriate safeguards in place.

16.4 Screen recording. If you record a screen showing another person, you are responsible for informing them, for any consent required, and for storing the recording securely. If you record screens used by your staff, you are responsible for compliance with employment and data protection law on workplace monitoring, including any data protection impact assessment.

16.5 Retargeting. You may upload to advertising platforms only the data of people who have consented or with whom you have a lawful basis to market, and only in accordance with that platform’s terms.

16.6 Telephony. Outbound marketing calls must be screened against the TPS and CTPS, and call recording must comply with your notification obligations. Where the PHONE tile is used, these obligations also sit under the Launchpad Pro agreement.

16.7 Recruitment. You are the controller of applicant data and are responsible for right-to-work checks, for the validity of any electronic signature you collect, and for the lawful basis and retention of applicant data. The public hire page must be hosted on an external platform and never on the Device or through a tunnel to it.

16.8 Certificates. You supply your own templates and your own Stripe account. We are not a party to, and have no liability for, any payment taken or certificate issued.

16.9 If you breach this clause we may suspend support and terminate the licence under clause 26.

17. Data protection

17.1 You must comply with every privacy and data protection law that applies to you and your business. The Dashboard is a set of files that runs on your own Device: we cannot see what you put into it, what you connect it to or what you do with it, and we have no control over any of that. You are the controller of all personal data you process on or through The Dashboard. You decide what personal data is processed, why, and for how long, and you are responsible for your privacy notices, records of processing, lawful bases, data protection impact assessments and responses to data subject requests.

17.2 Controller and processor status is determined by what actually happens, not by what this agreement says. Clauses 17.1 and 17.4 describe our respective roles as they are; if the facts change, the roles change with them.

17.3 The Dashboard runs on your Device. It does not transmit your data, your outputs or your credentials to us. The only thing it sends us is the check-in described in clause 11.12. We have no access to the Device, to your Claude plan, to your Connected Services or to anything you produce with it.

17.4 Assisted Sessions. When you ask us to install, configure, diagnose, repair or support The Dashboard and personal data becomes visible to us, or we work actively with your data as described in clause 9.4, we act as your processor for that session, and Schedule 2 applies. This is triggered by what happens, not by which tier you bought: it applies equally to a Tier 1 customer who asks us for help, and it does not apply where the work is done by telephone and we cannot see your screen or Device.

17.5 Connected Services are governed by their own agreements, not this one. Where the Connected Service is Launchpad Pro supplied by us, we hold agency-level administrative access to your sub-account and the data protection terms of that agreement, not this one, govern the personal data held in it.

17.6 We are a controller in our own right of the information we hold about you as a customer — your order and contact details, our correspondence, your Licence Key and the check-in records described in clause 11.12, and the Assisted Session records described in Schedule 2. How we handle that is set out in our privacy notice at https://earlydart.com/privacy/.

17.7 Each of us will comply with the Data Protection Laws that apply to us.

17.8 EU GDPR. We sell only to businesses established in the United Kingdom, so we do not expect the EU GDPR to apply. If you are established in the EEA, or your processing is otherwise subject to the EU GDPR, you must tell us before ordering. If you do, Schedule 2 applies with references to the UK GDPR read as references to the equivalent provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

18. Our warranties

The product warranty

18.1 We warrant that for the Warranty Period The Dashboard will be free from Defects. What is and is not a Defect is defined in clause 3, and in short: the warranty covers The Dashboard failing to run at all, and any tile that has never worked since delivery. It does not cover individual tiles that worked and later stopped, questions about how to use The Dashboard, or anything you have changed. We draw this to your attention in the Order Offer, so that you know before you buy what the warranty does and does not cover.

18.2 For Tiers 2 and 3, which tiles were working on the Delivery Date is recorded on the signed Handover Checklist. For Tier 1 there is no Handover Checklist, so the warranty is measured against the Documentation and the Minimum Requirements alone.

18.3 The product warranty does not cover: (a) a Customer Modification, subject to clauses 14.2 and 14.3; (b) anything caused by a Device that does not meet the Minimum Requirements; (c) anything caused by a change to the operating system, Claude Code, an AI Provider, a Connected Service or other third-party software or service, subject to clause 20.2; (d) the absence or misconfiguration of a Connected Service you were to supply; (e) your data, credentials or content; (f) misuse, accident, or use contrary to the Documentation or clause 16; or (g) any problem first reported after the Warranty Period ends.

18.4 How to claim. You must tell us about a Defect in writing, to the address we give you for this purpose, within 7 days of becoming aware of it and in any event within the Warranty Period.

18.5 If The Dashboard has a Defect and you tell us within those times, we will repair or replace it. If we have not put it right within 30 days of your notice, or if we tell you before then that we cannot, you may require a refund of the price paid and we will refund it within 14 days. Those are your remedies for breach of the product warranty.

18.6 Anything that is not a Defect — including help with individual tiles, questions, training and configuration — is either something you can address yourself using BUILD CHAT, or chargeable work under clause 19.

The installation and services warranty (Tiers 2 and 3, and all chargeable work)

18.7 We will perform installation, custom build work and any chargeable services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts that obligation or the term implied by section 13 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, and nothing excludes our liability for loss or damage caused by our negligence in performing it. Our liability for breach of this clause is limited only by clause 21.

General

18.8 Apart from the warranties in this clause, and to the fullest extent the law allows, all other terms, conditions and warranties implied by statute or common law are excluded. We do not warrant that The Dashboard will run without interruption or error, that it will meet a requirement you have not agreed with us in writing, or, subject to clause 20.2, that it will remain compatible with any third-party service.

18.9 Nothing in this clause limits any term as to title and quiet possession implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 or by any corresponding statutory provision.

19. Support, installation help and chargeable work

19.1 Work to put right a defect covered by the product warranty is free during the Warranty Period.

19.2 Everything else is chargeable, including: installation and help with installation; training; reconfiguration; setting up Connected Services; work arising from a Customer Modification; work arising from a third-party change, subject to clause 20.2; re-visits; data recovery; and any work after the Warranty Period.

19.3 Tier 1. If you ask us to install The Dashboard, or to help you install it, you pay the difference between the Tier 1 and Tier 2 prices current at the time of your request, and from that point your order is treated as a Tier 2 order: clause 9 applies, we agree an installation date, and Handover and the Warranty Period run from that installation.

19.4 Our standard rate for chargeable work, including call-outs, is a flat £1,000 per day. A day means one of our personnel for one working day, on site or remotely, and part of a day is charged as a day. Travel within the United Kingdom is included. We will confirm the likely charge before starting.

19.5 We do not offer a guaranteed response time or support window unless one is stated on the Order Confirmation. None is included as standard in any tier.

19.6 Some remote support tools record the session, and some relay it through servers operated by the tool provider. We will tell you which we propose to use before we start and you may decline.

19.7 We are not obliged to provide updates, upgrades, new features or ongoing maintenance beyond clause 20.2. If we offer a maintenance or update plan it will be on separate terms. Where we choose to make an update available, it is offered only to a copy holding a valid Licence Key, you decide whether to install it, and you should take a Save Point first. An update does not restart or extend the Warranty Period.

20. Third-party change

20.1 The Dashboard depends on the operating system, Claude Code, AI Providers and Connected Services, all of which change without reference to us and may change in ways that stop parts of The Dashboard working.

20.2 If The Dashboard stops running during the Warranty Period and you report it under clause 18.4, we will investigate and tell you in writing within 5 working days whether the cause is our software or a third-party change. If the cause is our software, it is a Defect and we will put it right under clause 18. If the cause is a third-party change, we will tell you so, and we have no obligation to restore the function. We will quote for any work you then ask us to attempt.

20.3 We give no undertaking that a fix for a third-party change will be available to us, and we may be affected by the same change ourselves.

20.4 After the Warranty Period we do not warrant continued compatibility, and work to restore function after a third-party change is chargeable under clause 19.

21. Our liability

21.1 Nothing in this agreement limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

21.2 Subject to clauses 21.1 and 21.4, we are not liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for: loss of profit; loss of revenue, business or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation; any fine or penalty imposed on you by a regulator; or any indirect or consequential loss.

21.3 Subject to clauses 21.1 and 21.4, our total liability arising out of or in connection with this agreement is limited to the greater of the price you paid for The Dashboard and £10,000.

21.4 Loss of data caused by us. Clauses 21.2 and 21.3 do not apply to loss of or damage to your data or to your Device caused by our negligence during installation or an Assisted Session. Our liability for that is limited to the greater of the price you paid and £25,000, and covers the reasonable cost of restoring the data from your most recent backup and of repairing the Device.

21.5 We are not liable under clause 21.4 for data you could have restored from a backup you should reasonably have kept, nor for any loss that would have been avoided had you complied with clause 9.6 (backup confirmed, sync clients quit, network drives unmounted, no shared company accounts).

21.6 We are not liable for the acts, omissions, availability, pricing, terms or output of any AI Provider or Connected Service. What you decide, send or publish using The Dashboard is yours to review under clause 13.5, and, subject to clauses 18.7 and 21.1, we are not liable for it.

21.7 You must bring any claim within 12 months of the date you became aware, or ought reasonably to have become aware, of the matter giving rise to it.

21.8 You accept that the price of The Dashboard reflects the allocation of risk in this clause, and that the warranties in clause 18 are part of that allocation. You are responsible for arranging your own insurance for any loss beyond the limits in this clause.

22. Your indemnity

22.1 You will indemnify us, defend us and hold us harmless against any claim, investigation, demand or proceeding brought against us by anyone — including a customer of yours, an employee, a job applicant, a data subject, a regulator, a third-party platform, or anyone who has obtained a copy of The Dashboard from you — to the extent it arises from any of the following:

(a) making marketing calls, texts or emails in breach of PECR, or without TPS or CTPS screening;

(b) uploading personal data to an advertising or retargeting platform without a lawful basis, or in breach of that platform’s terms;

(c) recording a screen, a call or a person without the notification or consent required, including monitoring your own staff;

(d) your recruitment activity, including applicant data, right-to-work checks and electronic signatures;

(e) processing special category data, criminal offence data or children’s data without a lawful basis and the required conditions;

(f) breach of the terms of any Connected Service or AI Provider, including anything within clause 16.2;

(g) copying, sharing or distributing The Dashboard in breach of clause 11.6;

(h) failure to secure the Device as required by clause 15, including exposing the local servers beyond the Device or your own network;

(i) any other claim relating to personal data of which you are the controller;

(j) any copy of The Dashboard you sell or supply to anyone, including any claim by the business you supplied it to or by its customers.

22.2 What you must cover. Legal costs on an indemnity basis, damages, settlements, any fine or penalty imposed on us, the costs of responding to a regulator, and our own personnel’s time spent dealing with the matter at our standard rate under clause 19.4.

22.3 This indemnity does not extend to anything caused by our own breach of this agreement, our negligence, or a defect in The Dashboard, including a malfunction of BUILD CHAT under clause 14.2.

22.4 Your liability under this indemnity in respect of paragraphs (a) to (h) and (j) of clause 22.1 is not subject to the cap in clause 21.3 and is not limited. Your liability under this indemnity in respect of paragraph (i) of clause 22.1 is limited to the greater of the price you paid and £250,000.

22.5 We will notify you promptly of any claim, will not settle it without your consent, and will let you have conduct of its defence at your cost if you ask.

23. Intellectual property and third-party components

23.1 The Dashboard includes open source components. Their licences are supplied with The Dashboard and, for those components, prevail over this agreement to the extent of any conflict. You must keep all attribution and licence notices intact.

23.2 The Dashboard includes a mind map component licensed to us by a third party and built on by us.

23.3 Templates supplied with The Dashboard, including any proposal templates, are licensed to you for use within The Dashboard only, on the same terms as The Dashboard.

23.4 You keep all rights in your own content, data, templates and outputs, subject to clause 11.10.

24. Confidentiality

24.1 Each of us will keep confidential any non-public information about the other learned in connection with this agreement and use it only for the purposes of this agreement. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiver, was already known, or must be disclosed by law.

24.2 This obligation lasts three years from the Delivery Date or from the last Assisted Session, whichever is later — except that the source code, structure and internal design of The Dashboard remain confidential without time limit, for as long as they are not public through no fault of yours.

25. If something goes wrong between us

25.1 If a dispute arises, we will each first try to resolve it by discussion between people with authority to settle it, within 14 days of one of us giving the other written notice of the dispute.

25.2 If that does not resolve it, we will consider mediation through a recognised provider before starting court proceedings. Neither of us is prevented from applying to court at any time for an injunction or other urgent relief.

26. Termination

26.1 We may terminate the licence if clause 1.8 applies, if you breach clause 11.6, clause 11.12, clause 11A, clause 15 or clause 16, or if you commit any other material breach that you do not put right within 14 days of our written notice.

26.2 On termination you must stop using The Dashboard, delete all copies, and confirm in writing that you have done so. No refund is due.

26.3 Clauses 11.10, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 27.9 survive termination.

27. General

27.1 Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for a delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control. If the delay continues for more than 60 days, either of us may terminate the affected part of the agreement on written notice, and we will refund any part of the price paid for work not yet done.

27.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer this agreement or the licence without our written consent, not to be unreasonably withheld. We may assign this agreement on written notice to you.

27.3 Notices. Notices must be in writing and sent to contact@earlydart.com or to our registered office, and to you at the email or address on the Order Confirmation.

27.4 No partnership or agency is created between us.

27.5 Third parties. No one other than you and us may enforce this agreement under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

27.6 Severance. If any provision is unenforceable it is modified to the minimum extent necessary or, failing that, removed, and the rest stands.

27.7 Waiver. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.

27.8 Variation. Any change to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both of us.

27.9 Governing law and jurisdiction. This agreement and any dispute arising from it are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Schedule 1 — Handover Checklist (Tiers 2 and 3)

Completed and signed by both parties at the end of installation. It is a reference point for the warranty in clause 18 and part of Early Dart’s evidence in a payment dispute. One copy to the customer, one retained. If the customer does not sign, clause 9.9 (deemed handover) applies.

Delivery

  • Customer name, company or partnership number, and each Device (make, model, serial number, operating system and version).
  • Tier purchased; for Tier 3 the agreed scope as stated on the Order Confirmation.
  • Version and date of the terms accepted, and the Order Confirmation reference.
  • Date, location, and who attended for each party.
  • Confirmation that each Device met the Minimum Requirements on the day.
  • Customer confirmed that the Claude plan in use is their own choice, and that its terms allow them to use it for their business (clause 13.4).
  • Licence Key issued for each Device, and the computer code it was issued for (clause 11.12).

Before we started

  • Customer confirmed a current backup of the Device exists.
  • File-sync clients quit and network or shared drives unmounted.
  • No shared company account signed into on the Device.
  • Save point taken before any work began — reference recorded.

Configuration delivered

  • Tiles live and working at handover — listed individually. This list is what limb (b) of the definition of Defect is measured against, so it must be complete and accurate.
  • Tiles not yet live because they await customer credentials or a Connected Service — listed, with what is outstanding and who is providing it.
  • Any privileged or system-level components installed, and what they do.
  • Where credentials are stored, which were entered, and by whom.
  • Confirmation that the screen recording feature was off throughout.
  • Confirmation that the servers are reachable only from the Device or the customer’s own network.
  • Whether any active data work was done (contact import, ad account connection) — recorded as an Assisted Session under Schedule 2.

Shown to the customer

  • The human review steps and approval gates, and clause 13.5 — including that disabling them voids the warranty on anything affected.
  • What the warranty does and does not cover (clause 18.1): total failure and never-worked tiles, not day-to-day issues, and that BUILD CHAT is the route for those.
  • How to report a Defect, to which address, and the 7-day reporting requirement (clause 18.4).
  • The obligation to disclose AI-generated communications where required (clause 13.6).
  • How to take and verify a Save Point, and the recommendation to keep independent backups (clause 14.4).
  • The reminder to keep an off-Device copy of the installer (clause 7.3).
  • That the local servers have no login and credentials are stored readable on the Device (clause 15.1).
  • Securing the Device: disk encryption, screen lock, physical access (clause 15.3).
  • Stay-awake does not lock the screen (clause 15.4).
  • Retargeting: only opted-in contacts or existing customers (clause 16.5).

Signatures

Signed for the customer, with name and position. Signed for Early Dart. Date.

Schedule 2 — Data processing terms for Assisted Sessions

These terms apply during an Assisted Session as defined in clause 3, for the duration of that session, on any tier. They do not apply where the work is done by telephone and Early Dart cannot see the customer’s screen or Device. They are the written contract required by Article 28 of the UK GDPR.

1 Roles. You are the controller. We are the processor. We process personal data only on your documented instructions — your request for the specific work, and anything you tell us during the session. We will tell you if we think an instruction breaches Data Protection Laws.

2 Subject matter and duration. Installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing or supporting The Dashboard, for the length of the session only.

3 Nature and purpose. Two kinds of processing happen. First, viewing personal data on screen while performing instructed technical work. Second, during installation and configuration, actively working with your data at your instruction — for example importing or mapping contact records, connecting an advertising or CRM account, or testing a workflow using live records. We do not process personal data for any purpose of our own.

4 Types of personal data. Whatever is present on or accessible from the Device at the time, which may include contact details, customer records, correspondence, enquiries, invoices, proposals, certificates, call records and job applications.

5 Categories of data subject. Your customers, prospects, suppliers, staff and job applicants.

6 What we keep, and what we do not. We do not copy, export, download, screenshot, photograph, record or transcribe your personal data, and we do not remove personal data from your Device or systems. We do keep a record of each Assisted Session: the date, who attended for each party (which will include the names of your staff), what you instructed us to do, what was done, and how long it took. We keep that record for 24 months and then delete it. We are the controller of that record (clause 17.6). At the end of the session there is no other personal data of yours in our hands to return or delete, which is how we meet Article 28(3)(g).

7 Confidentiality. Everyone we allow to take part in an Assisted Session is bound by a duty of confidentiality and instructed not to record or repeat anything they see.

8 Security. During a session we will use only the remote support tool notified to you under paragraph 9, record nothing unless we have told you and you agreed, work with the smallest amount of data needed, ask you to close records irrelevant to the work, use a test record rather than a live one where the task allows, keep our own devices encrypted, password-protected and up to date, and follow the pre-session steps in clause 9.6 including taking a save point before we begin.

9 Sub-processors. Where a session is conducted remotely, the remote access or screen share tool is a sub-processor, because the session passes through the tool provider’s systems. Before each remote session we will tell you which tool we propose to use, its provider, and where it relays or stores session data, and you may decline it. By proceeding with the session you consent to that tool for that session. We remain responsible for our sub-processors’ acts as if they were our own.

10 Where sessions are performed. Assisted Sessions are performed from the United Kingdom by our personnel. Where a remote support tool relays or stores session data outside the United Kingdom, the transfer is covered by the safeguards stated in paragraph 9. We will not otherwise transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom without your prior written consent and an approved transfer mechanism.

11 Assistance. Taking into account the nature of the processing and the limited information available to us, we will assist you at your cost with data subject requests, data protection impact assessments and consultations with the ICO, so far as they relate to an Assisted Session.

12 Personal data breach. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting personal data we processed during an Assisted Session, we will tell you without undue delay and in any event within 24 hours, with the information we have.

13 Records and audit. On reasonable written notice we will give you the information you need to demonstrate compliance with Article 28 and will allow an audit by you or your auditor, at your cost, not more than once a year unless a breach has occurred.

14 Interpretation. If you are subject to the EU GDPR and have told us so under clause 17.8, references here to the UK GDPR and the ICO are read as references to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and to your lead supervisory authority.

Schedule 3 — Minimum Requirements

The version of this Schedule in force on the date of your Order Confirmation applies. We send it to you with the Order Offer, and it is your responsibility to check it before ordering. The installation guide supplied with The Dashboard lists the exact operating system versions supported at the time.

1 Computer. Mac: Apple silicon (M1 or later) with at least 16GB of memory, running a version of macOS listed in the installation guide. Windows: a 64-bit version of Windows listed in the installation guide, with at least 16GB of memory. You need administrator rights on the computer.

2 Claude plan. Your own Claude account, on a plan whose terms allow you to use it for your business. Which plan you choose is your decision, and it is your responsibility to check it with Anthropic. You hold and pay for this plan directly (clause 13).

3 Connected Services. A reliable internet connection at all times The Dashboard is in use. The PHONE tile needs a Launchpad Pro subscription. The CERTIFICATES tile needs your own Stripe account and your own certificate templates. Any other Connected Service a tile needs is listed in the Documentation, and a tile whose Connected Service is not in place will not work (clause 12.3).

4 Installation. On Tier 1 you install The Dashboard yourself by following the step-by-step guide supplied with the download, which may require the use of Terminal. On Tiers 2 and 3 we install it under clause 9.

5 Security characteristics. The Dashboard runs local servers on your computer that have no login and no authentication, so anyone who can reach them can use The Dashboard and everything connected to it. The credentials you connect are stored in configuration files on the computer in a form readable by anyone with access to it. The Dashboard must be kept on your own secured network and must never be exposed to the internet (clause 15). Every request The Dashboard makes to an AI Provider is sent to that provider’s servers, which may be outside the United Kingdom, under your own agreement with that provider.

6 Licence key and check-in. The Dashboard opens only with a Licence Key issued by us for one computer, and about once a month it sends us a short check-in that contains no business data (clause 11.12). It needs an internet connection to do this.
