Launchpad Pro — Refund and Cancellation Policy

EARLY DART LTD

Version 1.0 — Last updated: 13 September 2026

This policy forms part of the Launchpad Pro Terms of Service.

1. How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • In the Platform — through your Account settings
  • By email — contact@earlydart.com
  • By support ticket — through the in-app help centre
  • By post — EARLY DART LTD, Tall Trees, Beehive Lane, Moulton, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 8NT

We will acknowledge your cancellation within one business day.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless a statutory right applies (see section 2) or we agree otherwise. You keep access until then.

You are responsible for cancelling your own subscription. If you stop using the Platform but do not cancel, your subscription will continue to renew and you will continue to be charged.

2. If you are a consumer — your 14-day right to cancel

This section applies only if you are a consumer: an individual acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Sole traders may be consumers in some circumstances.

2.1 Your right

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason and without penalty.

2.2 If you asked us to start straight away

If you asked us to begin providing the service during the 14-day period, you may still cancel, but you must pay a proportionate amount for the service you received up to the point you told us you were cancelling.

2.3 Digital content

Where the contract is for digital content supplied other than on a physical medium, you lose your right to cancel once supply begins, provided you expressly consented to supply beginning within the 14-day period and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. We will ask for both at the point of purchase.

2.4 Refund timing

We will refund you within 14 days of being told you are cancelling, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. We will not charge a fee for the refund.

2.5 Model cancellation form

To: EARLY DART LTD, Tall Trees, Beehive Lane, Moulton, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 8NT — contact@earlydart.com

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service:

Service: Launchpad Pro
Ordered on: _______________
Name: _______________
Address: _______________
Account email: _______________
Signature (only if sending on paper): _______________
Date: _______________

3. If you are a business

3.1 General position

Subscription Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable for partially used or unused periods, except as set out below. Cancelling mid-period stops future billing; it does not trigger a refund for the remainder of the current period.

3.2 When we will refund a business customer

We will issue a refund, or a pro-rata credit, where:

Situation What you get
We have materially breached the Agreement and have not remedied it within a reasonable period Pro-rata refund of prepaid Fees for the unused period
We terminate for convenience under clause 11.3(e) of the Terms Pro-rata refund of prepaid Fees for the unused period
We remove or materially degrade a feature you actively use and you terminate under clause 2.12 Pro-rata refund of prepaid Fees for the unused period
We increase your price and you cancel before the increase takes effect No charge at the new rate; your existing period runs to its end
We change the Terms or DPA materially to your detriment and you terminate Pro-rata refund of prepaid Fees for the unused period
You object to a new sub-processor and we cannot find a solution Pro-rata refund of prepaid Fees for the unused period
A force majeure event prevents us providing the Platform for more than 30 days Pro-rata refund for the period of unavailability
We have billed you in error, or double-charged you Full refund of the incorrect amount
The Platform is unavailable for a sustained period We will use reasonable endeavours to restore availability; no service credits are offered (see section 6)

3.3 Goodwill refunds

We may issue a refund or account credit outside these circumstances at our discretion. Doing so once does not create an entitlement or a precedent.

3.4 No refund on termination for cause

If we terminate your Account because you have breached the Agreement — including the Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy — no refund is due for the unused period, except where the law requires one.

4. Specific items

4.1 Communication charges

SMS, MMS, voice, email and other usage-based charges are non-refundable once the communication has been sent or the service consumed. This is because we incur the cost from the carrier or aggregator at that point and cannot recover it.

4.2 Wallet balances

Unused wallet credit belongs to you.

On cancellation or termination, you may request a refund of your remaining wallet balance by emailing contact@earlydart.com. We will refund it within 14 days of the request, to your original payment method where possible.

We do not forfeit unused wallet balances. You may claim your balance at any time within six years of cancellation or termination, in line with the Limitation Act 1980.

Promotional credits we add to your wallet at no charge have no cash value, are non-refundable, and expire as stated when issued. If no expiry is stated, they expire 12 months after being added.

4.3 Pre-paid third-party services

Where we buy a service from a third party on your behalf on a pre-paid basis — for example advertising spend, domain registrations, or minimum-commitment services — those amounts are non-refundable once committed to the third party. We may issue account credit for the unused portion at our discretion where the third party refunds us.

4.4 Minimum commitment subscriptions

Some add-on services carry a minimum term. Where you have agreed to a minimum commitment, Fees continue until that commitment is fulfilled and cannot be cancelled earlier, unless a statutory right applies or we have materially breached.

We will make any minimum commitment clear to you in writing before you agree to it.

4.5 Add-ons that cannot be un-provisioned

Some add-ons cannot be cancelled or refunded once we have technically enabled them on your Account, because we incur an irrecoverable cost at the point of provisioning. We will tell you before you purchase which add-ons these are.

4.6 Domain names

Domain registrations and transfers are non-refundable once completed with the registrar. Transfer fees are refunded to your wallet only where the transfer fails after your wallet has been charged, or where you cancel at the losing registrar within five days of initiating.

4.7 Setup, onboarding and migration fees

One-off setup, onboarding, training and migration fees are non-refundable once the work has been performed. Where the work has not started, we will refund in full. Where it has partly been performed, we will refund the unperformed portion.

4.8 Courses and digital products

Our other products, including The Dashboard and our courses, are sold under their own terms and their own refund positions, which are shown at the point of sale and do not form part of this policy.

5. Trials

  • Trial periods are stated at sign-up. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and your payment method is charged.
  • We will remind you by email at least 3 days before a paid trial converts.
  • Trials are for evaluation. Taking consecutive trials to avoid paying is a breach of the Terms and we may suspend or terminate your access.
  • If a free trial converts to paid and you cancel within 7 days without having materially used the Platform, we will normally refund the first payment as a goodwill gesture.

6. Service levels and service credits

We do not offer a service level agreement or service credits. Launchpad Pro is delivered on licensed third-party infrastructure whose availability we do not control, and we will not promise you more than we are promised. We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain availability, will tell you of scheduled maintenance in advance where we can, and will keep you informed during any sustained outage. Where the Platform is unavailable for a sustained period, your remedies are those in sections 3 and 4 above and in the Terms.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at contact@earlydart.com. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

Raising a chargeback without contacting us first often costs both of us time and money unnecessarily. Where a chargeback is raised and subsequently found to be unjustified, we may:

  • suspend your Account until the balance is settled;
  • charge you the chargeback fee levied by our payment provider; and
  • require payment by an alternative method going forward.

This does not affect your rights under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 or your card issuer’s chargeback scheme.

8. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method, unless that is not possible
  • We aim to process refunds within 5 business days of approval; your bank may take a further 3–10 days to show it
  • Refunds are made in pounds sterling. We are not responsible for exchange rate movements or your bank’s foreign currency fees
  • Where VAT has been charged, it is refunded proportionately with the Fee

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled a refund or cancellation:

  1. Email contact@earlydart.com marked “Complaint”. We will acknowledge within 5 working days
  2. We will investigate and respond in full within 20 working days
  3. If you are not satisfied, ask for the matter to be escalated to a director
  4. If you are a consumer and we still cannot resolve it, you may seek independent advice from Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133 / citizensadvice.org.uk)

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
